The name
There are several layers of meaning to the name of this blog. Bebot is the Tagalog equivalent of pretty girl, a nod to Kimber's Filipino heritage. Those of you familiar with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon would remember the baddie duo, Bebop & Rocksteady. Cartoon characters aside, those are two types of music - which is an important part of this blog. The ampersand defines this blog's collaborative aspect.
